Due to the size of KZN and the number of golf courses therein, KZNLGA divides the province into five Regions.
Each Region has an elected Committee, which is bound by their own Constitution to administer Women’s golf in their Region on behalf of KZNLGA. The Regions’ Constitutions align with KZNLGA’s Constitution.
Each Region self-funds the running of their Regional Championships, League, Trophy Events, Inter-Region, Inter Town and other tournaments throughout the golfing year. Young talent is identified and nurtured through development programs at golf clubs or with KZNLGA.
The symbiotic relationship between KZNLGA and it’s Regions provide for a successful conduit through which information is streamed from club level, to the Union and GolfRSA and visa-versa.
It is to this purpose and in compliance with KZNLGA’s Constitution, all female golfers handicapped at a club in KZN is obligated to also pay a Regional levy as well as the affiliation fees for KZNLGA & GolfRSA.
